Korda rod takes three PB's from Welly!John Moore has enjoyed three months to remember, taking a staggering number of big fish from the well-known Wellington Country Park, including three personal bests…“All year I’d been getting inundated with phone calls from my good friend Martin Pick, telling me to get down to 'Welly'. After his impressive year, I was desperate to wet a line. However, due to my missus giving birth in June I’ve not been unable to get down. Even though I joined at the start of the year, it wasn’t till September that I made my way down for my first session; to say I was excited was an understatement.

I’ve been sent a few bags of this wonderfully smelling bait and I’m absolutely smitten with it. The unmistakable aroma reminds me of an ingredient in a bait that I’ve tested before but which I cannot quite put my finger on. Whatever the case, breaking one open reveals plenty of ingredients and further releases its distinctive smell. A bait’s smell isn’t everything, of course, but I reckon the Equinox is well set to add to CC Moore’s already hugely successful line-up of baits.
