Tactics: fished tight to the island in front of me using a slip d rig with a yellow magic bean topped with maggots, sat over a bed of mini mix pellets. The rod was out for around an hour before it went off.

Additional Info: After having not caught a carp all winter so far I was over the moon to reel in this beautiful looking common which ended up putting me in the 30s club!
