Tactics: A small bed of Urban Bait Strawberry Nutcracker boilies fished over a gravel strip, with minimal leading about and disturbance.

Additional Info: My first 30 and and second PB of the week! This fish was the first of a brace that evening, the other being a very similar looking 29lber. I arrived at the lake late and so was forced into a very un-carpy swim, although I ended up being the only angler to catch over a 3 day period. Other anglers were putting in loads of bait and spodding frequently, so I decided to do the opposite and it worked a treat. INSTAGRAM - @henryrushangler
