Cultured Carp Baits throw their weight behind cancer charity initiative!Cultured Carp Baits, supplier of high quality baits across the UK and France, have teamed up with ‘Carp Aid’ to support a range of carp fishing events aimed at raising vital funds in the battle against cancer. ‘Carp Aid’ is the newest arm of the ‘Match Aid’ charity, an organisation set up by Richard Anderson last year after losing two people to cancer who were very close to his heart. Match Aid raises money for cancer research through fishing matches and due to its success Richard made the decision to expand the charity into the world of carp angling. The man responsible for setting up ‘Carp Aid’ is David Cawsey; “I’m ecstatic about having the opportunity to work for a cancer charity and help give back to the people who helped to care for my mum who died of cancer almost two years ago and to those who helped my wife in her successful battle against cancer last year.

Avid Carpers magazine now bi-monthly. Top carp fishing brand, Avid Carp have announced that they are bringing out their brand magazine, Avid Carpers, on a bi monthly basis from now on. Avid’s Marketing assistant, Jason Umney explained: “We’re pleased to announce that our Avid Carpers Magazine will be going bi –monthly this year. The magazines have proven so popular over the last couple of years, we have decided to bring them out on a more frequent basis.
