Additional Info: On arriving at the lake and talking to Rob the owner it was clear it had been fishing hard with all 3 lakes doing 1 fish since my previous visit 10 days earlier. So with nothing to go on I decided to fish 3 spots on the back of the wind against an old lilly bed id baited the previous trip hoping the fish may be visiting the area . With the weather looking bleak I remained hopeful and at 6pm my first evening my alarms let out a few bleeps a short while later in the net went this lovely golden common of 17lb 9oz and the first and biggest of 5 fish this trip. A great result after enduring temps of -4 a half frozen lake big winds and cold rain . All fish falling to a combo of sticky manilla freezer baits 12mm and 16mm bloodworm pellet and 12mm manilla dumbells and half a yellow 12mm mulbz as toppers on blow back rigs.
