Additional Info: This is not the biggest fish in the world at 13lb 4oz, but was my boy Thomas’s first carp on his first cast. I have fished for carp for many years, but today I saw in him the boy I was when I first went fishing. He went on to catch a fair few smaller carp but had the exact same smile on his face every time. If there is anything to take from todays fishing with him, is do not lose sight of the real joy of fishing, no matter what your fishing discipline is. Very proud dad.
