A quick overnighter
Charlie Ferguson | Mar 30, 2020
Angler Name: Charlie Ferguson
Hometown: Mold
Fish Weight: 20lb
Bait: 18mm Purple Hearts boilie with some pop up corn
Venue: Commonwood Fishery
Rig: Combi rig
Tactics: Casted out in front of a sunken island and put around half a kilo around the area
Additional Info: With the last few days of being mild weather I decided to do a quick over nighter at Commonwood Fishery on the syndicate lake. The carp normally hold up around a sunken island, people normally fish on the back of the sunken island but I decided to fish in front of it as everyone ignores the front of it as it only 30 feet out. Luckily around half 3 my rod went and after a 10-15 minute battle I landed a lovely 20lb common.
