Additional Info: This years’ January session came with 2 x over 22 kg mirrors, one arguably a personal best and the other the most beautiful carp I’ve ever caught. . I’ve used boilies of different sizes (10, 16, 20), soaked in condensed milk, soft rigs with no. 6 hooks and smaller hookbaits. I’ve baited two spots and waited for the bites. I didn’t want, despite the winterish period, to change the rigs often, as I knew the carps would come.
