Additional Info: First session of the year. Feels good to be back out after a break over the festive period, turning up to the syndicate and to get another 3 bites. First one came on the first night and it was a cracking 24lb common, I was absolutely made up to get off the mark! Rod re done and a top of around another 5 spods. It was silent up until early hours of the morning of the second night and the left hander started to slowly beep and it was away, I hit the rod and knew this was a better fish and I wasn’t wrong it was an absolute brute of a mirror carp coming in at 34lb! The right hander back clipped up and put back out tot the spot I went back to sleep feeling absolutely buzzing ! I woke up the following morning to start packing up but knowing iv had 2 bites on this session I wasn’t in a rush to get off and I’m glad I wasn’t as that afternoon the left hander went again and it was another good fish coming in at 28.8.
