Additional Info: I opted to fish a peg I know very well only fishing 11 and a half wraps out on to a lovely big patch of silt amongst the weed. I used some whole and crushed Wraysbury Baits Mcnut, some of angling direct farlows’ 2mm pellet, some hemp, tigers and strawberry corn and piled 10kg on the spot. It was fishing a bit slow across the whole lake, and I was starting to lose hope. But I never gave up and the bite came at around 9am, I had another take around two hours later and unfortunately lost it at the net, it looked a decent fish but unfortunately that’s fishing sometimes. I was still chuffed to have this little banger, sometimes the size doesn’t matter when they look like this.
