Additional Info: As i mentioned in my last post. After i got to norton disney after a 24 hour blank session on my syndicate. The fish on holdens lake were still holding down in front of swim 1, my chosen area for the session, i was still scattering baits every so often around the right hand margin and towards open water hopefully letting the carp feel safe and feed with confidence, my first day was awsome landing a 21lb 8oz mirror and a 24lb 12oz mirror in quick succession, however, the second day went quite, the conditions changed, and the wind was blowing more southerly then what it was westerly, and the fish seemed to have followed that towards peg 6, i quickly wound in and had a walk towards peg 6 where i had seen fish showing, however it was clear that the lake we very busy, and no other swim was available, so a trip back round to my swim and was sat on my bed rethink tactics, how can i get these fish to come back towards me, so i i deployed my marker float towards the spot that did the previous 2 fish, the bottom of a marginal shelf in 10ft of water, i walked around to my right hand margin and after wrestling with brambles and nettles i was soon at the water edge, funny enough there was 2 swans and 3 cygnets where i wanted to stand and look and lets just say the male swan was more than unhappy to see me, after been pecked to death by a swan i soon moved onto the pipe in peg 1's margin, this pipe is here if any if the lakes water levels are too high they can pump water in the next lake along, and i must have been standing there 5 seconds and instantly saw 7 fish come drifting along, so i walked back to my swim and got my air dry bag of boilies with a catapult, i put out 10 pouches of moster red and Atlantic heat on and around my marker float and then i spread roughly a kilo around the margin and outwards open water where my other rods will be, i quickly tied up 3 solid bags and got them on the money, the right hand rod at the bottom of the shelf and the other 2 on top of the shelf in front of the pipe, at 10pm just as i was making a phone call to work, the right hand rod absolutely bust off resulting in this absolutely crusty 26lb 4oz mirror. Happy days
