Additional Info: Back in 2018 I caught a fish called Bruno at 31lb 14oz from Broadlands in Hampshire, at the time my PB. Recently I had heard reports that he was coming out at weights in excess of 40lb, so I thought I would return & try & catch him again. I planned a once a month 48hr trip which I thought we keep me occupied for a couple of years. I returned for my second trip & on the second night I had put out 1.5 kilo of Parker Baits OG Fish onto a bar 6.5 wraps out & fished a OG fish hardened hooker over the top. At 22.30hrs my middle rod ripped off & after a 20 minute scrap a large Mirror went into the net. After lifting him into the cradle I peeled back the landing net mesh & recognized two scars on his side. It was my old friend Bruno again this time spinning the scales round to 42lb 4oz a new PB.
