Additional Info: After my first catch during the night. I then had to recast with the head on winds still blowing and this time in the dark, making it much more fun. Not feeling to comfortable with where it went, but knowing I wasn’t gonna get it much better, I decided to leave it put till the morning to recast again. But was awaken at first light to a few taps on that rod & again a couple mins later, thinking I’ve got a snotty on. I picked up the rod, to realise that the fish had kited on the line right over to my left. Without taking any line. Was when the head started banging back and the reel started ticking I knew I had a carp on and not a snotty thankfully. And oh what a character it was.
