Designed after the huge success of RidgeMonkey’s Action Station, these new adaptors are made with alternative uses in mind. The first will hold an action camera (GoPro and so on) and either screw into a bankstick or attach to the Action Station clamp (depending on which model you go for). The second one, my favourite, houses the RidgeMonkey bivvy light and, again, allows attachment to a bankstick or bivvy frame via the clamp. This opens up a world of uses for the light, some of which we are already experimenting with.

We first saw this at the Tackle & Guns Trade Show when it was shown for the first time. Essentially, it’s a unit that attaches to the top of RidgeMonkey’s Modular Bucket, and allows you to chop boilies in seconds. The rugged build and huge ‘teeth’ make light work of even frozen baits and all you have to do is put them in, close the lid and turn the handle. I don’t imagine I’d ever take one of these on the bank because it’s a bit big and I like to travel as light as possible, but plenty of you reading this will.

The duo adaptor features a bankstick thread and simple adaptor, allowing you to use the RidgeMonkey Bivvy Lite out on the bank to help illuminate your own self-take catch shots, or even if you fancy shedding some light on the social. Following the popularity of the GoPro buzz they also have an attachment for this too; you are guaranteed to get the perfect angle when returning fish or for whatever carpy video you are looking to record. The Bivvy Lite has had a great reception and if like me you have managed to lose the metal plate do not panic, you can now seamlessly attach these to the ribs of your bivvy or brolly by another simple little clamp it has on offer. (DM) £7.

Dan Murrell’s verdict -Extremelyuseful andversatile. Bivvy lights are an item of tackle you either love or hate, but coming into winter fishing when there are more hours of darkness than there are of light they really do come into their own. I have been using the Bivvy-Lite Duo for a few months now and I think it’s great! With four settings you can either have a gentle glow, which is ideal when you’re pottering around in your bivvy and you just fancy some lighting, or with a second push of the button you can have full bivvy illumination, which is a must when cooking or rig tying. A further two settings can be found by double clicking the button, which will activate the red light.

We love these! After having extensively used the original Bivvy Lite Duo, I was keen to receive the IR version. Let me just say I am only recently converted to bivvy lights, and just how handy they are. Basically building on the best-selling bivvy light, RidgeMonkey has now added a handy remote function. Still boasting the dual white and red colour options with twin brightness settings, you can effortlessly switch between the colour variations and brightness options at the click of a button.

I’m a huge fan of this one, and use it for my fishing, as do most of the TC staff in fact. For me, the main feature is the remote control (don’t worry, there is still a manual switch if you lose your remote), which makes it even more versatile than just a bivvy light. This is especially relevant since the launch of the recent accessories that allow it to attach to banksticks, bivvy poles and suchlike to make an ideal outdoor light. This can be a godsend when taking night-time catch pics.

Following the popularity of the first release we were quick to see what changes had been made in the newer variations. The tap system has been revised and to make the containers more user friendly when in transit and storage the tap now screws on internally and can be simply screwed on top when you arrive at your swim or need to use the container. The tap also allows more control and results in a fluid water flow, ideal for helping to conserve water when on the bank for longer sessions. Constructed from durable HDPE, these containers are rugged and set to endure plenty of bankside abuse.

Before the cynics pipe up and start, yes it is another bucket, but don’t look at what you can put in this bucket, think about how it can work for you. Being a modular system, straight from the off it is one item of tackle that you can tailor to suit your requirements. This can help you to eliminate other items of clumsy bulky luggage, enabling you to keep everything to hand in one convenient place. With two independent tubs inside complete with tight-fitting lids and the ability to be frozen, you can either use them to store terminal tackle or, once attaching them to the side of the bucket, fill them with water and test your rigs.

Kiss all those half-empty pots of pop-ups that rattle around in your tackle bag goodbye because RidgeMonkey has the perfect solution. Designed as a tower system, the supplied zip carry case in either black or green houses all four 150ml hook-bait pots at once. Each contains a totally removable glug cage allowing you to drain off excess liquid before you select your hook bait and attach it to your rig. With a leakproof seal, this is a trusted design that will not let you down.

With the explosion of electric devices featuring more heavily in today’s angling, it only makes sense that you can keep your phone, tablet, camera or other toys full of power, ready for action. Developed with the modern carp angler in mind, the team behind RidgeMonkey sourced the Vault as the ultimate fishing power pack. It featues multiple charging ports and ultra-reliable lithium ion battery for prolonged and reliable use. The charger is protected via a heavy-duty rubberised case which prevents damage when in use or transit.
