With a rigid bottom and top, this is a durable luggage item that offers a great level of protection to whatever is inside. With a large front pocket, big enough to accommodate a bivvy table or large rig box, an elasticated mesh panel means you can keep small items to hand. The main compartment is also complemented with two side zipped pockets for plenty of other tackle. A stiff structure means this could also double up as a temporary bivvy table while keeping all your valuables dry inside.

You might have seen this handy little product being bandied around over social media lately but for those of you who haven’t, what exactly is it? To be used in conjunction with the seperate 17-litre, olive, square container, the inner bucket complete with drainage holes has its own handle. So imagine you want to soak your particles, wash out your boilies, or perhaps you have arrived at the lake with your spod mix full of all the liquid goodness you added along the way. When it comes to spodding this can very easily become messy and water adds a huge weight to whatever baiting device you are casting, of course. Well now you can simply lift the inner bucket to begin the draining process and by turning the bucket it will safely sit on the edge of the large outer container, which will catch all that important liquid, leaving you a dryer and easy bait to handle – less mess, less fuss.

The perfect solution for tidying away your muddy boots, meaning no more dirtying the car or, even worse, the hallway. A simple solution to an age-old problem, once you have managed to take your muddy boots off, where do you put them so you don’t get everything else covered in mud? That’s right, the boot bag of course. Suitable for a range of boots, the bag is fastened with a main zip and comes complete with carry handle. It’s available in either English Oak camou or Hunters Green, which is pictured here.

This style of rod holdall is becoming more and more in vogue, and for good reason. Being able to store multiple rods inside one sleeve, all together, but with good all-round protection is the holy grail when it comes to rod bags, and these tick all of those boxes. Old-fashioned rod holdalls are exactly that, old fashioned, but many anglers don’t like the alternative quiver-style bags because rod protection isn’t at its best. The triple sleeve, in Aqua’s case called the Tristar, isn’t a compromise between the two; it takes the best features of each and combines them.

I’ve spent years trying to find a soft cool bag that I’ve been happy with. Having never been successful, it’s led me to either not bother taking many supplies with me or having to lug a big, rigid Icey-Tek one around with me. This is far from ideal. However, I couldn’t help noticing this one’s hugely impressive performance after reading a cool-bag test.
