Baby Brown
Rosie McCance | Nov 14, 2024
Angler Name: Rosie McCance
Hometown: Dorking
Fish Weight: 44lbs 10oz
Bait: Enki Baits
Venue: Park Lake
Rig: Multi Rig
Tactics: Moved on to showing fish, and used 2 spombs of bait with a light scattering in the area using a throwing stick
Additional Info: After arriving at the lake for a quick overnight session on Friday, I headed to an area that I had pre baited earlier that week. Saturday morning came around quickly, and I had only had the odd liner throughout the night, and hadn't seen anything show. I could hear fish crashing out much further down one end of the lake, and even though I only had 3 hours left to fish before having to head home, I made the decision to move and try and make the most of the time I had left. Setting up in a new swim, I got the rods out, with 2 spombs of bait over the top, and a light scattering of boilies around the spot using a throwing stick. Just 10 minutes before having to pack up and leave, this beauty graced my net at a mega 44lbs 10oz. It was the lakes biggest, and a new PB mirror for me! It really shows that staying alert, watching the water, and keeping on your toes, can really pay off. Reassuring me that a few hours in the right area is sometimes all it takes!
