The guys at Fox International have been in touch with news of a new-look main website at www.foxint.com plus a new mobile site (www.foxint.com/mobile).
Fox's group media manager, Lewis Porter, explained: "Over the past few years we have worked tirelessly to develop and produce innovative, forward-thinking products that have been designed to make anglers fishing not only easier, but more rewarding, and we have now taken this same philosophy and applied it to the design of our main home page of www.foxint.com. Previously the home page was a bit of a mishmash of all of the brands under the Fox umbrella, which meant that our carp fishing side didn’t really have its own stand-out home page, which needed addressing as the carp fishing brand makes up the bulk of our business.
"We therefore sat down with the web developers and decided to make www.foxint.com the home page for our carp fishing brand, and then set up links from this page to unique websites for our other brands, such as Fox Specialist, Fox Rage and Fox Sport Fishing. The brief was simple – to make a clean, easy-to-use site that can be used as a hub of carp fishing knowledge. With regard to making a mobile site, this was also of paramount importance. Over 20 per cent of the traffic to our website is now via a mobile device so making a specific site for smartphone and tablet users was essential into making sure all of our visitors are catered for. So whether you are looking for access to information on our new and existing products, the latest news from Team Fox, entertaining and informative videos, interaction with the brand via Facebook and Twitter, technical magazine-style features, or help with spares and repairs, we are confident that when you log onto www.foxint.com you will find it easier and more pleasurable to navigate than ever before.”
