Splashbaits field-tester Ben Fenner had a successful session at his local syndicate recently.
The 50-hour stint ended with nine fish on the bank, with the biggest being a stunning 29lb mirror carp.
Ben commented: “I have been using Factor VII and have had some amazing results with it, including my biggest fish of the session at 29lb. In fact, all the fish I caught were on Factor VII, and all were caught on a combi rig, which I tied on the bank. I used a single hook bait on a size 8 curve shank and scattered a kilo of boilies, then kept the swim topped up with a further half a kilo of boilies every time I landed a fish.
“The weather was hot and clear over the three days I was fishing, and I noticed a lot of activity on the surface during the day – I knew by nightfall the fish would have built up a good appetite.
“The session was very productive and the nine fish comprised commons of 3lb, 9lb, 11lb, 16lb, 18lb and 19lb, plus mirror carp of 21lb, 28lb and 29lb. I’m looking forward to seeing more fish on the bank on Splashbaits Factor VII.”
