The giant carp pictured was captured by Swedish angler Richard Tamanko from a lake he owns called Egla Damm.
A few weeks ago he spotted carp moving there but did not know exactly what or how big the fish were. He rigged up a combi rig with a single Factor VII freezer bait, and tipped it with a bit of corn. After 10 minutes he got a run and landed this massive grass carp, which brought the scales to 30lb 8oz.
The fish comes on the back of an even bigger carp, which Danish rod Christian Jakobson landed on Factor VII freezer bait last week.
