We covered the original Tardis bivvy a few issues back, offering the angler a compact shelter with plenty of room internally. Well, we have the latest addition right here. The aptly named RT version, standing for Road Trip Edition, is ideal for the angler on the move. Whether it is short sessions you fish, or like me you prefer to get tucked away in the overgrown abandoned swims, then look no further. Constructed with a quick to erect two-rib four-break pole design helps to reduce weight but without compromising on size thanks to the spacious separation between them. The material itself is soft feel and comes with a waterproof rating of 10,000mm while remaining breathable for a comfortable and protective shelter.
It boasts the addition of the practical and beneficial stylish storm peak, allowing extra protection from the elements, which when combined with the separately available overwrap immediately enlarges the overall footprint of the shelter. The shelter comes complete with oversized bag, and a fully removable front mosquito panel door allowing you to utilise this throughout the summer and winter months alike. Packing away to a miniscule 86 centimetres and weighing in at 4.8kg, this bivvy can be tucked away and forgotten about until you get to your swim and set up in a matter of minutes. (DM)
