The heads are simple in design, with two dials, one for volume and the other for tone, allowing the head to be set to silent and only the receiver will alert you to any activity, which is great for when you want to be discreet, as discreet as you can be with the bright blue LED. The power switch operates as the sensitivity function, giving the choice of two settings, which has been more than ample for the scenarios that I have been fishing in.
For ease, and being a little bit lazy, I like to keep my alarms attached to my banksticks. With the supplied hard cases, this means that there is no risk of damaging them when transporting them in the car or on the barrow.
The receiver is equally compact, with bright matching LED light and durable on and off dial. It was definitely one of the easiest to pair up with the alarms out of the sets that I have used before.
I really like the fact that the alarms and receiver operate on AAA batteries, which is a godsend when you’re travelling to your session or get to the bank and realise that the batteries have run flat. I did experience one problem but I realised that it was a faulty battery and they have run smoothly ever since.
Over all, the presentation kit has stood up to everything that I have thrown at it and I’m sure it will for a long time to come.
