BEDCHAIRS & CHAIRS

This JRC shelter is perfect for overnight or day sessions, with its rapid-erect, lightweight, two-rib construction making it ideal for the mobile angler. The aerospace-grade, ridged, aluminum poles make the shelter easy to manoeuvre into position in even the tightest of swims.

Six bags are tested to see which ones keep their cool.

We take a look at the precisely tied rigs from the Kodex stable, suitable for several fishing situations.

When it comes to innovative design RidgeMonkey is always at the forefront. It’s latest edition to the stable is the VRH300 USB-rechargeable headtorch, making fumbling around in the dark looking for batteries a thing of the past.

Making its debut launch into the world of terminal tackle, the innovative and dedicated team at RidgeMonkey is pleased to give us the very first look at an exciting new range of lines coming this season.

With short sessions firmly in our minds we wanted to take a closer look at the newly launched Road Trip bedchair from the boys at Avid Carp.

Reliability and performance for reasonable price – the HD MHR Compact brolly gives the angler the quality Wychwood pedigree without having to break the bank.

The guys at Mainline are always looking at ways to help us put more fish on the bank and the exciting Power+ Particle range is a little different, enhanced and activated with a choice of three feed-inducing stimulants: Multi-Stim, Cell and Essential Cell!

Standing for All Season, I have been testing the AS 365 Compact since December and I have been out in very cold conditions, well the brief spells we have encountered anyway.

We chose the VRS2 standard bag to test, being in the middle of the range between the compact and the wide variations. The Ventec was the quickest bag to warm up, reaching over 33ºC in just an hour. We absolutely love the RipStop waterproof material and the fact the versatility of the bag means it can be used as either a fully fledged five season or simply converted to a smaller three-season bag. The major drawback is that when packed away in its supplied bag it is the largest on test and considerably larger than the others. However, this is a small price to pay, especially when the majority of anglers are fully equipped with barrows.
